You know when you tell your kid over and over again not to do something because they'll hurt themselves. But, in the way that only three-year-olds (and one-year-old's for that matter) can do, they blissfully ignore you and carry on? And then, only moments later they hurt themselves like you said they would and scream and cry in pain, being Mom you hug them and wipe their little tears away, leaving kisses in their place. But somewhere, deep inside, you think to yourself you deserved that you little shit.
