A Trip to the Zoo

This weekend was Hubs' Work's Family Day and this year they held it at the Toronto Zoo!

We got free admission, lunch, parking and passes to some exhibits as well as the fun travel method called the "Zoomobile". It was definitely a nice way to spend a Sunday with your family, even the rain held off fairly well and we didn't get more than a mist once.

We didn't make it to all of the "continents" and there were a few animals that were off being fed (such as the elephants, waah!) that we missed along the journey, but all in all it was a very fun and exciting visit! Cash really liked seeing all of the different animals and Carter was hunky dory in the stroller for a few consecutive hours. (I think it's his "me time".)

Here's some fun photos from our adventure! (Click to enlarge!)

Cash, meet Monkeys! Monkeys, meet Cash!

Lunch time!

Handsome boy enjoyed most of the visit from the safety of his stroller seat. :P

Butterfly exhibit was awesome and lent itself beautifully to some really nice photography!

Snake charmer.

Look up, look waaaay up!

Sittin on a rock by the hay.

Hippo

Happy running, son!

Sleepy Hyena

The "Zoomobile" took us through the "Canadian Domestic" and "North Americas" continents at light speed!

Peacock enjoys hanging out on the deck.
